After spending 24 hours in Orange County, I’m now obsessed with California. Here is my list of things to do for a quick trip to Orange County.

#1- Laguna Beach

All I can say is, it is STUNNING. I plan on coming back in the summer and spending an entire week, because that is how much I LOVED it.

You can spend a couple of hours walking the trails and enjoying the views. My kids had a blast looking for sea animals and running from the massive waves. The best part is, the beach is free and the parking meters cost $1.00 a hour. You feel like you are touring a little paradise island.

#2- B. Candy Store

21058 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA 92648

After some fun in the sun, stop at the B. Candy Store. This place is adorable and it was a great place to cool down before our next adventure.

If you love a great Instagram picture, then you can take a great picture next to the precious unicorn wall before heading inside.

This store has the most amazing homemade ice cream, mini cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. They are constantly rotating their ice cream flavors so you never run out of choices. Jackpot! They even have a large selection of unique toys and gift. The mini cakes are little pieces of art.

Enjoy your home made ice cream on these adorable ice cream bar stools.

#3- Huntington Beach Pier

This pier is perfect for watching whales and seals. Just five days before this picture the news station showed whales playing by this pier.

Sadly, on this trip we did not see either, but we had a fun time watching a surfing competition next to the pier.

There are a ton of shops and misc. things to do on the pier.

If you love shopping and the bar scene, there is an amazing shopping center across the street. It will not disappoint you. However, my family was too exhausted at this point. In the past, I’ve spent countless hours shopping at the stores. I love that you can find local clothing at the shops.

#4 Chronic Tacos

7520 E Chapman Avenue, Orange, CA 92869

If you love Chipotle, then you will love this place. You can build your own burrito. They even have seafood you can add to your burrito, unlike Chipotle. My husband had fried Mahi Mahi fish. He said it was delicious.

Hope you have a fun time in Orange County. I hope you even have longer than 24 hours in Orange County, because it is a little paradise and the perfect escape.

If you are in Orange County and have extra time, then go to Disneyland. Visit my Disneyland blog here for more suggestions.
