Corpus Christi did not make the top 10 Bachelorette Party Destinations on google, but it should have. If you are looking for a relaxing and exciting destination for your bachelorette party in Texas, then Corpus Christi should be your #1 choice. Here is where to stay, what to do, and where to go while on your bachelorette trip.

Where to Stay in Corpus Christi
We stayed at the Village by the Beach Townhomes, at 14921 Packer View Loop. Our townhome had 3 bedroom, 3 bathrooms and 2 sets of bunkbeds. This condo is perfect for a large group of ladies who need plenty of space, and it sleeps up to 14 people. At no point did we feel crowded. The best part is, it’s only a 3 minute drive to the beach.
Day 1
Bachelorette Games
Our first night started with drinking and bachelorette games. If you want to get the drinking started, I suggest starting with Kings Cup. It’s a card game that consists of giving out too much information about your sex life and drinking. By the end of this game. you should have a buzz and know everyone in the group. This game will 100% break the ice in the room. Next we played bachelorette trivia along with bachelorette jeopardy. I am now highly educated on pornos thanks to the bachelorette jeopardy.

We had these adorable cookies to snack on all night.

Day 2
Beach at Corpus Christi
A beach destination bachelorette party wouldn’t be complete without actually going to the beach. We were staying on the North Padre side where the water is beautiful. We started the day with group pictures and matching t-shirts. Take your pictures before everyone gets hot and sweaty.

Once in the water we noticed a ton of sea turtles. We decided to walk over to the pier to get a better view of the turtles. We felt blessed that we were able to experience the sea turtles in their natural environment. The best part is the sea turtles were everywhere so not one person in the group missed out on this wonderful experience.

When in Texas you should have your camera ready. You never know what you might see on the beach.

Bachelorette Gifts
After a long day on the beach it was gift time. How cute is this gift bag? Just slap two bows and some underwear on a bag and bam you have a bachelorette gift bag.

Dinner at Doc’s in Corpus Christi
We wanted to stay on the Island so we elected for dinner at Doc’s. They have an outside band along with an amazing view of the ocean. For the record, this place is HOT inside due to the restaurant being half inside and half outside.

The Bloody Mary is HUGE, plus it has bacon. Yum!

The food is a little on the pricy side, but it has something for everyone.

Nightlife on the Island
We selected Murdock’s because it was a short drive from the condo. Everyone in our group was “taken” aka off the market. However, if you have a group of single ladies this is the place to be. This bar is massive and it gets packed fast.

Bachelorette Scavenger Hunt at the Bar
Everyone split up in groups of 2 for the bachelorette scavenger hunt.

At first I thought this scavenger hunt was corny, but everyone was having a blast. They were running around all night having the time of their life. By the end of the night the owner was shutting down the men’s restroom specifically for the hunt and random strangers were buying the group shots. It was a night to remember because of this scavenger hunt. It felt like Cheers. Everyone knew everyone’s name in the bar by the end of the night.
Day 3
Brunch at Hester’s Café in the Art Museum
We started our morning with hangovers and breakfast at the Art Museum.

You get to enjoy some incredible views of the battleship and dolphins while eating your breakfast outside.

The brunch is mouth watering good.

They even have a wide selection of home made desserts.

Visit a Local Brewery
Afterwards we headed to a local brewery down the street from the Museum. The staff was really friendly. We even met the owner which was super nice. They took this picture below for their Facebook page. This is a new and upcoming brewery in the area.

Selena
The group was still exhausted from the night before, so almost everyone headed back to the townhome, except my friend Christine and I. We decided this may be our only chance to check out all the Selena sites in Corpus. We decided to split up from the group and explore Corpus.
First, we went to the Knights Inn where Selena was shot. This place was emotional for me. I remember when I was 13 years old watching Selena at the Houston Rodeo with my best friend Amy Rosales. We had no clue it would be her last major concert.

Next, we checked out the Selena Memorial.

The view around the memorial is beautiful.

**Sadly, the Selena Museum was closed. I heard Selena’s mom and dad work at the museum. I’m still upset that we missed our chance at meeting her parents and seeing the red Porcha. ** Do not make this mistake.
Since we were already downtown, we decided to check out all the murals. We even met some of the artists and they were super sweet.

Dinner on the Island
We had dinner at Scuttlebutts, on North Padre Island. This place is crowded, but 100% worth the wait. It’s the perfect spot for a girls night out and the food is delicious. The Red Fish Dip is DAMN good! I could have eaten it as a meal, because it was that good.

This place has something for everyone, from seafood and sushi to pasta and hamburgers.

They even have a buffalo wings contest you can enter. The winners and losers are posted on the board. We cheated and asked to be on the Wall of Shame. Why not?

Nightlife Day 3
We still had hangovers from the night before, so we headed in early. On the way to our condo, we met a musician who came over to hang out with us on the porch. The rest of the night we hung out and sang on the porch. It was a fun, low-key kind of night.
