Welcome back to my exploration of Absolute Sanctuary in Koh Samui, Thailand. In Part 1, I delved into the tranquility and rejuvenation that this wellness haven offers. Now, in Part 2, I’ll detail the rich menu of activities that can invigorate your spirit, and strengthen your body and mind.

For travelers seeking an unparalleled recipe for holistic regeneration, Absolute Sanctuary stands as an exemplar in the wellness tourism sphere. With an array of activities designed to harmonize body and mind, your sojourn here promises transformation on multiple levels.

I have partnered with Absolute Sanctuary for this post. This is my honest opinion, with no constraints. For the record, I only choose places that I ABSOLUTELY want to visit myself!

Absolute Sanctuary Activity Schedule

Upon your arrival, they offer you an activity schedule. This comprehensive activity sheet is your ticket to a day filled with vitality, mindfulness, and endless possibilities.

(You are required to pre-register for all activities.)

Morning Beach Walk

7:00 am -8:00 am

You can enjoy a serene morning beach walk every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday with their complimentary guided tours. Perfect for exercise enthusiasts and wave watchers alike, this hour-long excursion will invigorate your routine. You won’t want to miss out on this activity.

Group Meditation

8:00 am- 8:30 am

In the rush of our modern lives, the thought of early morning meditation might seem like just one more thing to squeeze into an already-packed schedule. However, the benefits, both physical and mental, of starting each day with a brief period of mindfulness are overwhelmingly positive. I highly suggest signing up for their daily meditation because this is your chance to start a new daily routine.

Group Yoga at Absolute Sanctuary

8:30 am- 9:30 am

6:00 pm -7:00 pm

Morning yoga was my daily joy. It was an experience like no other. The combination of yoga and meditation is a must for self-care. While yoga focuses on toning and stretching the body, meditation helps to calm the mind and reduce stress levels. Together, they create a powerful synergy that has numerous benefits for our overall health.

Group Pilates Reformer at Absolute Sanctuary

10:00 am- 11:00 am

3:30 pm- 4:30 pm

This Pilates class was my ultimate morning jam alongside yoga. It’s hands down one of the most enjoyable and effective workouts I’ve ever experienced. I felt like I was getting the best workout of my life! Get ready for some serious fun and fitness with their amazing Pilates Reformer class.

(Socks are required for all classes)

(Foundation class is required to be taken before your first Pilates Reformer class)

Shuttle Bus Service to Chaweng Beach

10:30 am- 12:30 pm

They offer a convenient shuttle bus service to Chaweng Beach every day. The shuttle departs around 10:30 am and returns at 12:30 pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the beach. Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off near a bar/cabana with comfortable chairs and shade. You can relax in these covered chairs for free as long as you purchase a drink. I decided to treat myself to a refreshing coconut while taking in the stunning beauty of the beach.

However, it’s important to note that there is unfortunately a significant amount of trash along the beaches and in the ocean in Thailand. It’s a sad aspect of being in Thailand, but the cleanup crews are doing their best to keep the beaches and ocean clean.

Temple Tour On Ko Samui

Tuesday & Saturdays

1:00 pm- 2:00 pm

You can embark on an unforgettable Temple Tour starting with Wat Phra Yai, home to the awe-inspiring Golden Buddha. This sacred site left me speechless and is a must-see for any traveler. Next, prepare to be amazed at Wat Plai Laem, where you’ll witness the breathtaking presence of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion, alongside Buddha himself. The beauty is truly indescribable – we were blown away.

While these temples are located outside, it’s important to show respect by covering up. Although I didn’t see anyone being turned away, it’s proper etiquette to dress modestly. Remember to wear long shirts and avoid showing your shoulders. Show your reverence as you explore these incredible sites

Daily Workshops at Absolute Sanctuary

1:00 pm- 2:15 pm

You can immerse yourself in a daily schedule of enriching workshops where every moment is an opportunity for growth and reflection. Begin your journey with culinary mastery in our state-of-the-art kitchen, learning the art of creating wholesome yet delectable dishes. Transition into the esoteric with engaging sessions on astrology and palmistry, where their insightful instructors will reveal the secrets written in the stars and lines of your hand. The afternoon offers you the chance to explore the deeper questions in life with topics ranging from soul-guided living to unlocking the secrets of embodiment. Each session is designed to encourage self-discovery, allowing you to adapt newfound knowledge and perspectives into your daily life. Whether you’re seeking personal enlightenment or just looking for an opportunity to learn something new, their workshops are sure to be a highlight of your stay.

I was extremely disappointed when the Astrology & Palmistry Workshop got canceled last minute. I had been eagerly anticipating it and was really excited to attend. It’s still a sore spot for me because I was truly looking forward to it.

Group Fitness Class

4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Feel the burn differently every day through their dynamic lineup of evening group fitness classes, each designed to challenge you, push your limits, and transform your body. Whether you’re drawn to the controlled strength-building of Core Suspend or the intense energy of HITT Workout Training, their expert instructors are there to guide, support, and cheer you on through the ultimate calorie-busting experience. Increase your core strength with Kevin in their invigorating Core Suspend or master the art of balance and control in a soul-soothing Mat Pilates session. For those who seek the thrill of speed and stamina, Irene’s Core Body and HITT Workout Training class promises an adrenaline-pumping, full-body workout. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or looking to elevate your routine, there’s a class for you at their fitness center. Your body will thank you.

As my stay at this resort came to an end, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the amazing activities and programs that were available to me. From yoga and meditation classes, there was never a dull moment at this resort. The activity schedule provided me with structure and allowed me to fully immerse myself in all the fun and wellness opportunities available.

I highly recommend pre-registering for classes and requesting a copy of your schedule before your trip. This will give you the chance to plan out your days and make the most of your time at the resort. Remember, it’s important to take some time for yourself during your vacation, so don’t be afraid to mix in some relaxation time as well.

Overall, my experience at this resort was unforgettable and I left feeling rejuvenated in both mind and body. I hope this example of an activity schedule gives you a better idea of what to expect during your stay and encourages you to try new things and embrace all the amazing activities offered. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
