However, every now and then, you’ll spot a daring woman wearing whatever she pleases or a rebellious man defying the norms. But as a general rule, everyone embraces the conservative dress code with covered shoulders and knees. Don’t worry, my husband and son confidently sported knee-revealing long shorts, even though the scorching temperatures crossed the 100-degree mark! There was simply no way my boys were going to endure pants in that heat! So, join the fun in staying cool and stylish while being respectful of the cultural norms.

Palace Downtown, Dubai is hands down the ultimate hotel I stumbled upon! It’s just a hop, skip, and jump away from the mall and Burj Khalifa. Imagine this: you can literally feast your eyes on the iconic Burj Khalifa while taking a dip in the hotel pool. And let’s not forget about breakfast – it’s absolutely scrumptious and included with your stay. Trust me, this place is pure perfection!

Now, let me tell you, as someone who is usually petrified of heights, I must admit, it wasn’t half as terrifying as I expected. The elevator ride was crazy fast (60 seconds), but surprisingly, I felt completely safe and secure. And let me tell you, the view from the top was absolutely mind-blowing! Trust me, this is hands down the most happening tourist spot in Dubai, so make sure to grab your tickets well in advance (months in advance) and get ready for a truly unforgettable time.
Dubai Mall– Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo
Get ready to be blown away by the colossal mall! It’s so gigantic, you won’t believe your eyes. You can literally lose yourself in the mall for an entire day and still not conquer everything it has to offer. Trust me, there’s a ton of things to do! But our absolute favorite? The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. You can either admire the massive aquarium from the outside a line or step inside by paying money. Some naysayers may argue it’s not worth the moolah, but let us tell you, we were obsessed! In fact, we think it’s worth every single penny.
Dubai Aladdin Tour: Souks, Creek, Old Dubai and Tastings

I highly recommend splurging on the slide experience. Oh, and don’t forget to grab your tickets in advance, unless you want to miss out on the sliding action!
IMG Worlds of Adventure
Welcome to the biggest indoor theme park that my kids absolutely adored! Guess what? If you bring your passport, you can save a whopping $25 per person. We spent the entire day there and had an absolute blast! Oh, and don’t forget to save some extra cash by ordering a pizza to share at the park. Trust me, if you’re a theme park enthusiast, this is an experience you won’t want to miss out on!
Heads up! The park is as quiet as a ghost town during the weekdays in June.
Museum of the Future
The Museum of the Future is overrated. Yes, I said it. OVERRATED.
