There are few things in life more fun than dog sledding. It’s an experience you’ll never forget and one that I highly recommend to anyone who has the chance! The dogs were so excited, they almost knocked me over when I got to the sled. There’s something about watching them run free through snow-covered fields that just filled my heart with joy and warmth. The dogs are trained to run across snow-covered terrain while pulling their sled behind them at breakneck speed. Toward the end, the sled driver will do something unexpected, like casually stopping in the snow so you can snap away pictures together with the dogs. It is 100% a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget.

I know this is a wintertime tradition for people up north. However, I am a lady from the south, so in my honest opinion, it’s freezing cold outside and the ride is extremely bumpy. We could barely see three elk in the distance, and did I mention it was freezing cold outside? My kids and I were miserable and bored during the entire ride. I can now check it off the bucket list. My kids did enjoy petting the beautiful horses at the end of the ride. I suggest bringing a blanket and bundling up.
Take Snowmobiles to the Hot Springs
What could be more fun than taking a snowmobile ride to one of America’s natural wonders, Hot Springs? It is an off-roading adventure that you will never forget. Imagine sitting on your snowmobile while exploring these beautiful mountains and getting cozy with nature at every turn! It is an incredible feeling to speed over the landscape at top speed. It is a tour we will NEVER forget and one of the best.
After riding along the slopes you will have an hour or so to stop and swim in the soothing waters of the Hot Springs. It was so relaxing and the view was breathtaking.
Snow King Mountain- King Tubing, Skiing, Snowboarding, and Winter Cowboy Coaster
Big King Pass at Snow King Mountain is the key to an amazing day full of fun at Jackson Hole. It is unlimited rides for all their winter seasons favorites including the Cowboy Coaster, King Tubes, and skiing! This is the absolute best way to experience everything the King has to offer.
Keep in mind, in early December, you may not be able to do all these activities due to there not being enough snow. However, by spring break time there will be plenty of snow for you to do all the items the king has listed,
