Our friends’ much-anticipated photo shoot quickly turned sour when their photographer, who was already in a gloomy state of mind, rushed through it and brought the session to a premature close. I picked out the perfect dress – or so I thought. When I tried it on, however, it looked absolutely dreadful. Thankfully, my friend rented multiple dresses and I was able to borrow one from her.

To be honest, at first, I felt awkward about the strict rule to wear ONLY nude underwear, but soon enough I learned how to go with the flow. As my dress took flight in an elegant swirl around me, I enjoyed every moment – who knows if this experience will ever happen again. I had to keep reminding myself that I will never see these people walking by me again. So if they get a sneak peek at something they shouldn’t be seeing, everything will be ok. You WILL end up flashing someone, so just take a deep breath because everything will be ok.
With so many people and companies attempting to capture the same moment, you and your photographer must often wait your turn before they can snap your own amazing shots. Up to 8 gorgeous ladies with lavish dresses are waiting to pose for the same perfect snapshots. So be prepared to wait. Also, taking risks for the perfect shot is completely normal, I defied gravity by gripping the side of the church in my stunning cover photo. Something in the past I would say only an idiot would do, on this day I did it! This is your day to throw out all your rules and just go with the flow.
