Dec 15, 2021 | Disney, Florida | 2 comments

You are all set to go on the vacation of your lifetime, but have no idea what to pack for Disney World! If you’re looking for advice on what to pack for your trip to Disney World, then this blog post is perfect for you. I’ve written out a basic list of everything that I packed and used during my latest trip.

I love packing for a trip. It’s so much fun picking out what I need, knowing that even if something doesn’t make the cut there will still be plenty of room in my luggage for some Disney souvenirs! Hopefully, my list will make your experience as enjoyable and carefree as possible. Packing light is always easier than overpacking right? So here it goes:

What to pack for Disney World

#1 Backpack

You’re going to need a backpack at Disney World. I always wear my favorite Disney backpack that I found on Amazon. It includes several of the items that I will list below. Knowing what to pack for Disney World is extremely important.

#2 Water bottle

I recommend packing a backpack with bottled water for Disney. You can get free refills at any quick-service restaurant, saving you tons of money!

#3 Disney Magic Bands

You need to pack Disney magic bands. These will allow you to use “genie passes” for fast ride access, and they can be used as a link to your credit card to purchase anything at Disney! Let’s just say they make getting around the park much easier.

#4 Snacks For Disney World Parks and Hotels

Not only do snacks at Disney tend to be expensive, but they also have a very limited selection. Luckily you can get Amazon delivery right from to hotel!

#5 Battery Charger

The battery charger for your cell phone is a must-have. You will need it fully charged in order to use “genie passes” and explore everything at the park with the Disney App! Also, I suggest putting your phone on power saver mode every morning.

#6 Mickey Ears are a must item to pack for Disney World

Taking mickey ears to Disney World is what really makes your experience magical. I suggest bringing a few different styles, and having fun with them!

#7 Ponchos/Ziplock bag

You know that it’s going to rain while you’re in Florida, right? It usually only lasts 10 minutes to an hour, but it can still be annoying. Therefore a cheap poncho from the dollar store is necessary for when things get wet and wild! Also, you need a large ziplock bag for when the rain stops and to put it back in the backpack.

#7 Comfortable Shoes & Clothes

You are sure to have a great time at the Disney parks if you wear comfortable shoes and clothes. This is not just about looking cute but also feeling comfortable. You’ll be walking around all day and it would suck if your feet were killing you! This is one of the main things you need to pack for Disney World.

#8 Bathing Suits

One of the best things about Disney resorts is that they have amazing pools. They are even open during winter and are heated!

# 9 Headache Medication

A trip to Disney World can be an intense and tiring experience. I know that on hot days everyone wants relief from their pounding head! So do not forget to pack your favorite headache medication.

#10 Masks are No Longer Required at Disney World

One of the most exciting times in a family’s life is when they get to go on vacation. Planning for such an event can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be! I know there are so many different things you need to pack and prepare before heading out. With That said, I wanted to take some stress off your plate by providing you with a list of basic items that will ensure you have everything needed for a fantastic stay at Disney World. Now you know what to pack for Disney World.

We used lanyards for our masks and they worked BEAUTIFULLY . You are taking the mask on and off THROUGHout the day, so it was easy to just drop at your neck until it was needed again
